Learning CategoriesContinuing Professional Development may be undertaken from any of the learning categories listed below. However, if training is undertaken under learning category 1 it must be combined with training from at least one other learning category.
This includes self-paced learning which does not require formal assessment. Typical examples of these types of activities are attending seminars, conferences and forums, watching videos, on-the-job learning. The content of the learning must relate to the work activities of the licensee and provide an educational outcome. For seminars, conferences and forums, only the hours of the actual presentations may be counted. Functions the individual routinely performs as part of his/her employment are not claimable.
