This lecture reviews the most recent research in glaucoma and the implications of that on ophthalmology and optometry practice. 

The session covers the most recent glaucoma clinical trials including the EAGLE study, LiGHT trial and UKGTS. The new glaucoma NICE guideline is also discussed. This lecture reviews the impact on local referral protocols and the advice optometrists should give to patients being referred.
